Director, Biostatistics

Full-Time Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000

Job Description: Global Head and oversee statistical activities of biostatisticians working in a Business Unit. Ensure that clinical programs and protocols are statistically complete, efficient and commercially effective. Provide consultation with respect to statistical and clinical trial methodology in pursuit of worldwide Health Authority approvals. Maintain competence in related regulatory and marketing issues which would impact clinical programs, and ensure that knowledge is communicated effectively to staff. Perform administrative duties with respect to project management and personnel issues. Maintain effective relationships with external experts and professional organizations. Ensure training and development for statisticians.

Requirements: PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics. Strong experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with worldwide regulatory agencies, and external experts. Successful statistical leadership of multiple mega-trials. Superior knowledge of clinical trial methodology and the drug development process, particularly as it relates to mega-trials. Excellent project and people management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
